The Gwadadli Festival was founded in 2013 and its aim is to achieve a common festival between Antigua and North Grand Terre (the northern section of Guadeloupe).

The festival features three art forms:

  1. Music
  2. Visual 
  3. Culinary

The Gwadadli Festival has been hosted in Guadeloupe in 2014 and 2016 with musicians, artists and chefs from both Antigua and Guadeloupe. In 2018, the festival heads to Antigua.

  • Saturday May 12th - Night of Dance and Drums Sunday

Miss Antigua Barbuda Pageant

REGISTRATION BEGINS FOR MISS ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA PAGEANT.

The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission wishes to advise prospective applicants interested in participating in the Miss Antigua and Barbuda Pageant 2018 that registration has commenced and will conclude on Friday May 11th, 2018. Interested applicants must be a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda, No less than 18 years and no more than 26 years. One must also possess charm, poise and personality.

 

Prospective applicants should note the following:

A. Have completed secondary school.

B. Never been married.

C. Borne a child.

 

Application forms are available at the Office, 1st Floor, Pigotts’ Mall on Market and Redcliffe Streets. Application forms will only be available during office hours, Mondays to Thursdays 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and on Friday’s 8:30 am to 3:00 p.m.
