I M M E D I A T E R E L E A S E:
The Carnival Development Committee (CDC) would like to invite ALL Vendors and Booth Operators who wishes to apply there trade within the Recreation Ground and Independence Avenue during our 2009 Carnival Celebrations. That there will be a very important meeting on Monday June 29, 2009, at the Antigua Recreation Ground at 5:30pm.
Also, all food vendors are further reminded that in addition to their Application and Fees that a Food Handler’s Certificate issued by the Central Board of Health (CBH), will also be required.
Vendors and Booth Operators are further reminded that absolutely NO GLASS BOTTLES will be allowed in Carnival City. Instead, all beverages are to be served in either plastic or foam cups. Anyone found in contravention of this requirement will have his or her license IMMEDIATELY revoked. |

I M M E D I A T E R E L E A S E:
Monday June 2, 2009: The Carnival Development Committee wishes to inform the general public that the registration deadline for Wadadli Beer Calypso Monarch Competition and Lime Party Monarch Competition for 2009 has been extended from Friday May 29 to Friday June 12, 2009.
Meanwhile, an invitation is extended to persons desirous of being part of the adjudicator process during our 2009 Carnival celebrations are encouraged to register now. Emphasis is been placed on early registration to ensure an early start of the necessary Workshops
Registration forms are available from the (NFO) in the Pigotts Mall Building on Market and Redcliffe Streets, St. John’s Antigua from Mondays to Thursdays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and on Friday’s 8:00 am to 3:00 p.m. or from the carnival website www.antiguacarnival.com. |
